Education/Experience: Edgar is head coach of the U17 boys. Edgar has worked for Aztec in many capacities both on the field and behind the scenes with our Men's, Women's and Youth programs, and he is now assisting with St. John's Prep and Endicott College.
Edgar has his NSCAA National Diploma and has over a decade of coaching experience starting in 1994 with the Beverly Youth Soccer Association where he helped his team to the state finals. He has coached for the Northeast Soccer Club, the Soccer Union of the North Shore and the New Hampshire Phantoms, coaching state finalists, Nashua Cup Champions and Needham Tournament Champions.
Career Highlights: Raised in Guatemala (from birth to age 12), Edgar was a standout player at Beverly High School where he was Captain and Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He played club soccer for Greater Boston Bolts, Charles River United and the North Shore Tornados Soccer Club, and played his college ball at Salem State and Endicott College. He also played for the Mass. Aztecs in the NEASL.
